All kids deserve the opportunity to experience the magic of overnight camp. Austin Sunshine Camps is one of the only overnight camp experiences in Central Texas that is free of charge. A survey of local camps shows that weekly overnight options cost $775 to $2,200/week.

Since 1928, Austin Sunshine Camps has provided more than 55,000 youth with the opportunity to step outside the boundaries of their home life to grow, connect and explore.

The American Camp Association found that summer camps prepare young adults for college, career and life through mentorships, building interpersonal relationship skills, instilling an appreciation for individual differences, establishing independence, and encouraging participants to take on personal responsibility.
